Hi people, my problem is following: I, and many other people i know, have more than 10 hextech chests and no keys/key fragments, so what should we do with these chests? Possible solution: Why not to make keys,chests equal, make a possibility to switch 1 key for 1 hextech chest and 1 hextech chest for 1 key, that should solve this problem without any difficulties. Riot already stated that the reason there isnt many keys is because they would lose money. They are a company such is their goal, to make money.

Too many chests? Not enough keys!? What sorcery is this!? I have 7 keys and nothing to do with them, since my champion pool isn't that large, so I can't get many crates. ;w;
I do support an idea like this, but I think a cap would be better. Either you cap the maximum number of trades in a timeframe, or you make it an uneven trade. Make you wait and go "Is this really what I want to do? Or should I just wait it out?"
agreed. and not like swapping would be abused since your limited to how many keys and chests you can get (but what do ik about keys. been a month since I got a fragment) I heard there was something where you get keys after a certain number of games. but I play every day so I don't think that's there
I like your idea fine, although if you are getting tons of S scores (on lots of different champs) and not in at least Diamond+ you are probably playing in a way that is detrimental to your team. For example, some guy got level 6 mastery on every champion, and he said how he got all the S scores was by intentionally not helping his team win games and instead focusing on K/D/A and farm without regard to anything else (note: this is what many bad players do without understanding it is bad). He said it felt guilty to play in such a destructive way, but that was the cost of reaching his goal.

just buy a few keys. i wouldnt make a habit of it until you know that you have more chests coming in, but they are so cheap.

Key frags are only dropped from wins.
Key fragment drop rates work off of a per player cyclical reset timer, similar to chests. Higher drop rates are slightly front-loaded and gradually slow based on the total number of key fragments you’ve received in a cycle until the reset.
It’s possible to earn 4 keys (12 fragments) in a 4 week period. This matches the number of chests players can get.
There is a bad-luck protection rule that puts a maximum number of wins between key frag drops.
Players get a small drop chance bonus if they were in a premade.
You need to play more games. I never had this problem.... and I got every chest possible.
Keys are supposed to be earned over time. Thats the fun of it, to last you a season. If you were just given keys with chest, then thatd be pointless to riot. Because getting chests is easy, just play a champion, farm minions, boom S-.
Riot also wants to make a profit. So when you get a chest, theyre wanting you to buy keys. Just be happy Riot gives out free chests and keys in general.
let's see... you can earn 1 chest per week... you can earn x number of keys per week. key fragments cant be used for anything other than making keys... chests are random skins+... so... 5 key fragments per chest?
