Worst punnishment ever

So I recently was punished for "abusive language" by having my in game messages limited for 30 something games. Now I am sure that this seems like a GREAT punishment but I have now been reported 4 games in a row for "not communicating with teammates" I just wanted to point out that a solution to a problem that creates a bigger problem is a stupid solution.

Having said that I want to say that if you are the kind of person that needs to report every thing that everyone says to you that you don't like as "abuse" Good luck in the real world. Amumu summoner 4 summoner 11 item 3725

Yea, and you're completely banned from communicating, because if you don't use every one of your messages to compliment people and be encouraging, you'll just get hit with 30 more restricted games at the end because you "didn't improve"

It's complete BS, just like Lyte's statistics.

That's a good point, except that no one has ever been punished for "refusing to communicate." It's a legacy report option that doesn't really do much of anything. So the "bigger problem" you're referring to doesn't really exist.

Why don't you just tell your team you're chat restricted with one of your 10 messages and then use pings to communicate?

This was the problem that I saw when people said to "Ignore" trolls, you'd be reported :(

"Good luck in the real world" League isn't the real world, it's a game, where people go to ESCAPE the real world. Argument nullified.

Hmmm... but he does bring up a good pointer about chat ban.

There should be an indicator somewhere indicating that a player is chat restricted.

Occasionally, when I talk to people, they never respond... makes me wonder if they were chat restricted.
