Does KDA matter in ranked?

I have a question that I have so far been unable to find the answer to. Does your KDA matter in ranked play or is it strictly a win loss system? For example I am just starting my promotional series and my first game was a loss but with a KDA of 8/7/13. I know that having a loss wont help me, but does having a good KDA lessen the damage at all, or would it be the same as loosing the game with a KDA of 0/13/2? If you have an answer or a link to the answer I would greatly appreciate it. This is my first time on the boards so I don't even know if I am asking this question in the right place. Thanks in advance for what ever help you have to offer.

MMR and LP only looks and wins and losses. It would be too toxic if KDA mattered. People would flame about KS even more. People would do their own thing stacking their score not caring what the rest of the team is doing. Games would be prolonged with people trying to up their kills.

To my knowledge, KDA does not matter in any form of ranking system in League, regardless of whether it's Ranked games or Team Builder. If you go 0/50/0 in a game but your team wins, you should receive the same reward as if you went 50/0/50. You'll probably get reported for intentional feeding in the first example, but it shouldn't affect rank fluctuations.

Thank you for the feedback. It makes sense why they do it that way.

Yup. Only if you're something insane like 0-30-0
