Is it just me or has the "soft" reset cause all hell to break loose on the airwaves of in-game chat? It's like the end of the world every game! An apocalypse of leavers, afkers, ragers, and trolls all meeting like never before on the rift. And to add to the chaos, I've seen golds absolutely mauling bronzies in every single game, creating a luck of the cards matchmaking queue. I feel like I'm back in DOTA Allstars...
Yeah this reset does particularly suck. ELO/MMR systems place to much importance on your first 3 games. If you loose your first 3 you are totaly screwed and if you get carried you get boosted, it sucks.
It's generally wise to sit out the first week or two unless you are platish ELO
A hard reset would have at least been hilarious... It seems that a soft reset has done nothing but pit gold/silver/and bronze into one mass queue together. Because bronze couldn't move down anymore, low gold/silver have just been pushed into the same tier. Next lvl ELO hell FTW!
we'll i must say that i have had a tough time lately being the nice player i usually am. I never had a ban or a chat restriction since i started in season 2. This seasons reset is frustrating to the core. I was dropped to bottom tier because i botched my placements. I am having a hard time keeping my calm at the mo.
This happens every season, and every season people think its new.
Just wait a few weeks til you do your promos when all the dicks are out of the way.
