Add a "Block User" & "View Profile" options / buttons to friend requests

So there has been a lot of griping about lvl 1 / bot accounts sending friend request. A simple solution would be to add a couple of additional buttons to each friend request:

√ Accept X Decline ? View Profile Ø Mark as Spam

This way when one of those annoying requests come in, you can "View Profile" and "Mark as Spam" right from the "View Notifications" tab in the "Social Pane". Granted, this is a stop-gap measure, but it should be a good solution until something more nuclear comes along.

** Edit: Updated to include a "Mark as Spam" option instead of a "Block User" option.

I Think Riot should set up a mini game system so that the user has to do something each time he adds a Friend. Like wack-a-teemo.

This literally solves almost nothing. I don't know about you but I never get a request from the same bot more than once so block user does absolutely nothing and I'm probably not going to check for the 1 out of 100 friend requests that isn't a bot. If my friends are going to send me a request they will tell me or people do so immediately after a game we play together.

The only people this might almost help: streamers, youtubers, general interwebs personalities. Even then their streams would turn into "Watch me sort through 5 dozen friend requests."

You are correct, this doesn't solve the problem you described.

This would help streamline the process of viewing the profiles of users who have sent you friend requests.

Currently: - Navigate to the "!" / "View Notifications" tab of the "Social Pane" - Under the "Social Invites" heading, identify a pending friend request of a summoner whose profile you wish to view - Navigate back to the "View your Friends List" tab and select the "Search for another summoners profile button" - Type in the name of the summoner(as well as you can remember it)

Ideally: - Navigate to the "!" / "View Notifications" tab of the "Social Pane" - Under the "Social Invites" heading, identify a pending friend request of a summoner whose profile you wish to view - Click the "View Profile" button

Also, you do bring up a good point about the "Blocking" aspect, its probably not the best option.

What about a "Flag as Spam" option instead? That way Rito could start community sourcing bot identification to aid in their efforts at an actual solution.

IP Bans will do nothing - LITERALLY nothing - against these spambots.

The only people IP bans work on are people who are ignorant of the way the internet works.

That being said, I agree with the options presented by the OP.
