Where to get good ping
I cannot always get a wired connection and sometimes I have to go on my wifi. I get 19 ping but some days it skyrockets to 400. Is there a good location or technique to get a consistent ping? Thanks.

In the past I have been able to force my router to drop less of my packets by using command prompt ping comands. Lately I haven't been able to test it, but here's how to do it.
Open CMD from windows start menu.
Type in the following:
ping website here -t
And hit enter.
I used www.google.com for the website in the past, but a website with a server physically near to RIOT's servers may be more effective.
EDIT:
it may help you a lot to figure out why you're lagging. If it's packet loss there are a number of things to do, like my suggestion above, but sometimes it is bandwidth, and that comes down to who else is using your internet at the same time as you, and what kind of traffic they are creating on your network.
Another solution (if it's available to you); You can try changing your router settings. if you can get it to broadcast on a different frequency or channel than its default, it will have less interference with other routers nearby that also are using the default frequency.
