Unbalanced ranked queue

Having a problem with solo queue. Played 7 games lost them all due to unbalanced teams. I was bronze 2 now almost back to bronze 4. I looked at my last few games I was paired with bronze 4 and 5 while the other team has silvers and bronze 2. I don't understand how this was fair. Riot really needs to fix this problem

true i got silver 3 and i lost all my games down to silver 4 my teamates i get are very new and not skilled AT all, all games i was in went one way like i was going against a gold 3 pre made fives team very unfair makes the game very blah and not worth playing anymore

  1. This was intentional, if you want to move up, you need to carry.

  2. That is a very shitty reason, so i agree.

  3. To FearThisBastard, it is impossible to go against a premade 5 in solo que, they must have lied.

I can sympathize, as I am consistently matched with summoners that I deem below my skill level. Several things contribute to this:

  1. I am not as good as I think I am. Generally, none of us are. If I am matched with a solo queue Bronze III, it's probably because I am actually quite close to their play level despite being Silver V.
  2. Individuals in Bronze do not have enough games to clearly establish who they should be matched with. The algorithm is not perfect, but over time it should more closely approximate perfection.
  3. Teams are constructed so that their average skill is equal. If you are matched with someone who's skill is lower, the intent of the matching is that you will balance the team.

Chances are you will climb as you add more games to your name. Have fun!
