Should Riot Allow Players To Convert Their IP into RP?

I have been thinking about this for a couple days and I wanted to share my thoughts and opinions, as well as getting yours as well.

Should Riot Allow Players To Covert Their IP into RP?

At first, this idea may not appeal to a business-minded person, but hear me out and read everything before you comment, that's all I ask.

First, let me begin with influence points (aka IP). I have been playing since beta and I own all the champs, as well as all the basic necessary runes for ranked gameplay. The excess IP is now just used for purchasing new champions approximately every x amount of weeks when Riot release a new champion. Otherwise, in my opinion, I feel like IP is being underutilized and needs to have more impact, because it is not being used for anything else. To put things into perspective, I have just over 52 000 IP right ow.

My initial idea was to make it so that everything in the shop could be purchased with both RP (Riot Points) and IP, but from a business-minded perspective, that's not going to make any money for you. Instead, I think having an IP to RP conversion system (aka the main idea) will help motivate players to keep playing the game, because who can't resist the urge of a new skin, amiright ;) This new method will appeal especially to younger players, people without sufficient funds and/ or cards to buy RP with.

I think this slight adaptation to the current system will open many new opportunities. My suggestion is to implement the IP to RP converter with some sort of ratio, with IP being worth less naturally. You still want people to primarily purchase the RP, but you want to make things fair and enticing enough so that there is an alternative for those who don't have access to the aforementioned regular RP. I honestly think this change will benefit both the players and business at the same time.

Again, these are just my thoughts and sorry if things are a little unclear or scrambled . I would love to hear what you guys think and if this would be good for League or not.
