How long will league last?

I really like this game and I plan on playing it for a few years as well as drop some money on it. Will this be a waste? I don't want to invest in something if it just becomes a "dead game."

it won't become a "dead game" for several more years. but the game you love and enjoy today will not be the same game you are playing in 2 years. this may be a bad thing, or a good thing.

the game I played 2 years ago is worse than the game I'm playing today. in most aspects.

If riot could only pull their heads out of their ass and give us SoloQ and the Winter 5's map back, I'd be happy.
