I read something on surrender@20 regarding players finishing a tier lower than what they finished off as in Season 5. Sadly, Season 5 being my first year of League of Legends I placed Bronze 4 and only made it to Bronze 3 at the end (stopped playing ranked till the last week of preseason.) I just finished my placements not even 10 minutes ago and I got stuck in Bronze 5 and it doesn't make much sense to me. Personally, I don't think my scores are that bad besides the Tristana game, but placing Bronze 5 seems a little ridicules. I don't know if what surrender@20 posted in one of their threads was true or not or if it's because I main support and am being punished for it basically. I even have a couple friends that play a mix of roles, didn't do to great and got placed higher than me and they finished exactly where I was last season as well. Trust me, I wasn't expecting silver or anything, but possibly higher bronze would have been nice.

Think about it this way: you only have one way to go, and that's up.

Don't worry about it. KDA doesn't mean anything, nothing at all; Sometimes the guy who was 8/0 is the one who loses the game. And it's not a factor in your placements either.

So don't worry about it! You aren't being punished for playing support.
