Should i use smart cast or not?

I've been using smart cast for 2 years now and i'm used to it but i see a lot of great players not using it. So im asking is it easier and better to just use the normal cast?

Are you sure they aren't using Smart Cast? They may just have Indicators turned on so that they can see ranges better.
