Dropping from queues

I find that when trying to be matched with teammates, it is not uncommon for people to load into a game, and then drop out in the pregame. Although there may be reasons for this, it can be highly disruptive to game play, especially to lower level players who can only queue for certain games.

In my honest opinion, this can be just as disruptive as leaving a game. So, I think that just as there is a leaver's penalty, there should be a dropper's penalty. Smaller bans than for leaving, because you aren't doing as much harm, but still some for being disruptive to other players trying to get into a game.

If you aren't going to play the game, you shouldn't hit the join match button. Once you hit it, you're telling all the other players that you're dedicated to this game, and dropping out causes them to all have to queue again and wait for a new group. For some games, this isn't a long process, just annoying. For others, it can take time. Either way, it takes away from the fun of playing the game.

I don't think that the punishment for it should be too severe, though. A small ban, maybe two days at the most, and that only for repeatedly dropping out of pregame.

I am quite sure that some version of this is implemented . . . if you drop out of champion select, it counts as a leave in terms of games.
