Ok. So. Lately, I've been having a hell of a time in this game. I've been playing for awhile, consider myself a decent player (not the best, not the worst.) I know most of what I need to know in order to do my part in a game. However, lately I have noticed something. It does not matter who I pick (my best, or my worst champion), what I do, nothing. None of it matters in the long run. Too many dc's, trolls, intentional feeders, or just people who do not understand even the most basic things about the game at max level(mind you these could be trolls as well, I have no idea. But the end result is the same).

Yes, I have tried to fight through it all. I have played multiple games in a row trying, in vain of course, to break a losing streak that just refuses to break. And most of the time, it isn't because we played so much worse than the other team. It is because we have a dc, or someone is trolling.

One person gets fed off of the troll its gg. No, not all the time. Sometimes you get lucky enough to make a turn around despite said troller or dc'er, but usually, that is because the other team has one too. And God help you if you try to say something to said troller. Could be as innocent as "Dude please help the team". That gets you banned and trolled even harder. You literally just have to ignore it till the game is lost, effectively wasting everyone's time (except, of course, the troller who is the only one "winning" in this scenario). Then report, hope the Tribunal pulls through, then a week later play with the same person who hasn't changed. What is going on? It never used to be this bad whatsoever. This is the only game I have ever played that brings me to the boiling point, just because I want to play, but trolls and dcs make it impossible. Whats even more frustrating, is there isn't a whole lot being done about any of it. I don't see a light at the end of this tunnel and its sad.

I want to like the game again, I want to be able to play a game. Just play a game. Don't care if we legitimately win or lose, but losing for reasons like that in almost every game....its so ridiculous.

So, basically. Thoughts? Opinions? And yes...l2p, cry harder, pj salt....now that that's out of the way...Come on guys, real discussion time. Maybe. Please. Pretty please? I really am not trying to sound whiny, or anything like that. I just really want to discuss this, and see how other people feel. Thanks for reading :)

Improve your own game before you call out everyone else for trolling, because you owning those boots after having those two other items is trolling.

I think that this game caters to sensitive people. It punishes and bans people for verbal abuse which is stupid. There is no reason to let some internet chatter ruin your game or day. That being said while it punishes individuals deemed as being toxic, trolls and afkers can fly underneath the radar so to speak if they do things correctly. This is bullshit and in some cases (I am not saying all) will bring out the toxicity in people that aren't normally toxic. I can be toxic I won't lie about that but when you give advice to somebody that is 1/7/0 and they ignore you or give you the proverbial "no u" you're damn right I am going to call them worthless or a moron because that isn't abuse it's an observation and a very good one at that. I have played this game since season 1 which is a very long time and I have learned that League is not about having fun, it's about winning. This makes people focus more on winning that playing the game for what it is. I will explain how this game is all about winning:

-Champion Mastery Points - Two champions on opposite teams can both receive an A rating however the champion on the winning team receives 800+ more champion points than the loser. So what is the point of the rating?

-IP Benefits - The team that wins get's more IP than the losing team

-Showing wins on the party screen - first off it only shows ranked or normal wins nothing about aram however it shouldn't show this it should maybe show how many games you have played overall in the format for which the party is queuing up for.

-Ranked - The only way to gain LP is to win. There are promo series that act like a gatekeeper of sorts and that is all good but at lower elos your chance of winning is almost a roll of the dice. Why not have the stats like KDA/wards placed and destroyed/CS and other factors contribute to you LP?

-The Victory Screen - at the end of the game it says either VICTORY or DEFEAT reinforcing the fact that the game is about winning not having fun.

These are things that make people troll or rage or leave because they just don't make the game about having fun it's about winning. This is just my opinion of course and is most likely not shared by other people in the community.
