They already give us sales, events with free icons, and let us enjoy eSports for free. They are a company and they have to be concerned for their business side. Free RP for everyone that plays sounds nice in theory but that is a huge chunk out of the companies net profits. Plus this doesn't account for how many people would just spam smurf accounts over and over to get free RP to gift their main account with or inactive accounts or banned accounts or anything.

Maybe if it were like, 100 rp every 1,000 games. So you would actually work for it.

May as well make it 5$ worth XD but that'd be alot of RP for the community

to me i think riot would loose a tremendous amount of money from that. if you want RP join their recruiting program and get people to refer you.

no, this is a terrible idea for riot...something that riot could theoretically implement would be something like 1rp each time you succesfully judge someone on the tribunal...this way it would give an incentive for the banning system to function correctly and so that people also get something for improving the community

A business can only afford to give away so much free stuff before it starts losing money.

You know what would happen if Riot did this? Endless smurf accounts.

• If every account got 520RP per season, someone could get 1 mystery gift from all of his smurf accounts every year.
• If every account got 250RP per season, someone could get 1 mystery gift from all of his smurf accounts every other year.

People wouldn't buy RP for skins if they could just make 50 smurfs and add themselves to their main's friend list. At the end of the year, that's 50 free skins.

I think is a good idea. maybe a few rp for each game maybe 15 rp if you win 3 - 5 rp dependng on your kills and support.
