What should I do if I think I got banned wrongfully?

I got banned for MMR boosting and I really didn't do it.

I checked the email sent by riot and it only said that the ban was due to MMR boosting.

So can anyone please tell me what to thus far?

Here was the original request I sent as a request containing some reasons why I didn't do MMR boosting and why I promoted fast recently. (I didn't know if this is a ticket.)

Can anyone help me? Thanks a lot.

Btw, thinking optimistically, the tribunal banned me for elo boosting really means that I'm a good player :)

Hello,

I think I really have to send this request not because my account is suspended and I am mad, but because I am suffering from injustice.

I was judged to be MMR boosting but I claim that I did not do it, the only person that plays this account is myself and I do not have a reason of MMR boosting for the following reasoning:

I will just skip points like "my play style does not change" because they are hard to prove.

Firstly, my account was suspended due to the use of unallowed third party programs in April or May this year (I really forgot the exact date). Which means even if I get to Platium or higher rank,** I am not qualified for rewards**. Most players pay for MMR boosting because they want season rewards and I understand that, but I am not qualified.

Next, if you look at my account you will notice that my account promoted from gold 5 to gold 1 82 points (now) in less a month. From 4th Sep to 29th Sep (which is today). And I understand that the system concerns about "why this player is doing so good" or "if he is in Plat player level why he didn't promote before September?" It is because I am an international student in Canada and from 19 June to 3 Sep I went back to China. Which helps explain why this account is not active from 19 June to 3 Sep because I was not in Canada. And obviously I played LOL when I was in China, so I am being more skilled in LOL and my play style has changed.

About more particular things, the champions I played recently: **I was playing Jarvan, Xin and Fizz a lot when I was in China, because I only got few champions in that account. **But from the recent game stats you can see I didn't do a great job using fizz, but with Jarvan and Xin I'm doing fine. As mentioned above, it is not that fair if the system compared my play style 3 months ago with it now, and you can examine my play style only in September and maybe you will find out that the person who has been playing is myself.

I think the most important evidence is the IP address, however I am not sure if you can get the IP address information. I moved to Waterloo in Ontario for studying at University of Waterloo so this whole September** about 95% of the games I played was in my room in Waterloo**. I don't know what you can do to IP address but if you check, you will find out that almost all of them had same IP address.

As you can see, many of the ranked game I was duo queuing with a summoner named "davidfighting". Sometimes he carries and sometimes I carry so we promote fast. We are friends in real life and he was the person first introduced LOL to me.** We played game together from the beginning of last year.** As we all know most MMR boosting service is like : the get two accounts for boosting, and they have two smurfs, so they add them in game and duo for fast promoting, or some smurf just played solo queue for you. That is in general what a MMR boosting will do for you. Obviously my accounts' activities were not like that.

Lastly, I want suggest that Riot can make this judgement system better ( or give people chances to appeal) in case that no people like me is suspended for invalid reasons.

Besides, I am gladly expecting someone providing detailed evidences (in fact the evidences are seemingly ones) and I will help explain what is going on. If needed I can provide more evidences like the flight information or the game stats of my LOL account in China so you can compare the play styles. As the suspension cannot be removed, I think Riot needs to make it up, and I really need an apologize.

Thank you to whom it may read my request. It may be long, because I am so disappointing.

  1. Send in a support ticket.
  2. You will get a copy and paste response.
  3. Reply to that response.
  4. If you get an actual person, carry on the conversation with them. Otherwise, repeat step 3.

Would I be right to assume your ban ends the exact same time as mine? http://imgur.com/gallery/MHTILZS

I wish you luck on your case, so far everyother case seems to have been told "you boosted' by riot.

EDIT: Also support tickets are automated messages, atleast thats what im getting.

Submitting a support ticket is really all you can do.

Fun fact: you are risking MMR boosting bans without even knowing. ALL THE TIME you can easily work it out with riot as long as you get to talk with a riot member who is not autistic. (no offense riot, my tribunal case was not manually handled by a rioter and i got perma banned by a bot).

This is the 5th person in 2 days to be banned from Plat from ELO boosting. GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER RIOT.

Edit: 5th, probably like 500th, i've only seen 5 posts.

I'm almost terrified to even try to get out of Silver after seeing all these threads. It'd be real crummy if I got a ban for swapping from Norms into Ranked :[

While it would be nice to have some sort of explanation on this. A lot of people who have been ban from this all seems to have shared their account in some way. Assuming you did that as well it seem the ban is justifiable. The rules are there and if you broke the rules you deserve through punishment.

Hello 708866213,

Your suspension was only issued after an extensive investigation was run to ensure your involvement in MMR boosting. As explained in the email you received in response to your suspension, the following actions have been taken on your account:

-A two-week suspension has been issued to your account. -All previous Season rewards (Victorious skins, borders, season icons, season ward skins) have been stripped from your account. -You are ineligible for any 2015 Season rewards

While you may feel that this punishment is too harsh, please realize that having accounts boosted, for whatever reason, ruins the spirit of League of Legends competitive play. While you are ineligible for any rewards in the 2015 Season, this does not disqualify you for anything pertaining to the 2016 Season. Keep in mind that if you have any future involvement in MMR boosting, your account will be permanently suspended.

Hey, Althought what I have written is long, I hope you can finish reading them and then reply me. Or is this an automatic reply from some program?

To summerize, what I said was: I claim that I was not participating in MMR boosting and the only person that played those games was myself. I tried to prove that by listing some facts, which you can further investigate but I garantee that they are all true. So it is hard to accept this judgement if you only reply words like "we just ran an extensive investigation" without pointing out any persuasive evidences. I am only seeking for a chance to defend for myself and I think there might've been some misunderstanding in the invesigation so I can help explain them. If I only get replies like "we did investigation" it won't help without any evidences. I strongly recommend someone review the case because I didn't do mmr boosting. Thank you.

Here was the reply from a riot player support and what I sent back to him.

To be honest, receiveing a reply like that hurts me a lot. It looks like an automatic reply (maybe it is one).

Hey guys I'm looking forward to solving this problem. I really need some sort of help since I am suffering from injustice. PLS RIOT.

Keep responding to the report ticket.

A LOT.

Eventually, you'll get someone to apologize. Since they can't take back the punishment they've already dealt, maybe you can push for them to let you be eligible for season rewards as compensation.
