Pause maybe?

I was thinking that maybe there should be some sort of pause feature. Only a limit of 1 per team, and it only lasts 5-10 minutes. It pauses the game when someone DC's, no other reason, and it gives 5-10 minutes pause until they reconnect, and if they fail to reconnect in time the game just resumes like before. This can't really be hurt or abused considering it's only a limit of 1. I don't know, what do you guys think? I'd personally love to see this implemented.. What do you guys think?

And while the pause is going on, maybe have a little opt-in minigame so people don't get bored.

And itll still be abused or better yet, a troll will waste it int he first few minutes. You can easily afk and then come back. 1 is still to many.

I think somehow people might DC to take advantage of the game (e.g. if they're playing with a friend or something). I just want to play with no interruptions. An interesting idea which I'm sure many of us have thought about, and your idea is pretty good, but considering that the action of one would affect nine other people is disconcerting albeit that dc-ing in the first place is an action that affects others. If they don't come back after dc-ing then extra time has been wasted in what will most likely be a late, one-sided game that people don't want to play. I don't think their should be any action that gives people incentive to DC, but rather a disincentive to DC like there already is.

exactly is sounds good on paper, but ill be abused and cause more choas.

I could see it being used if you have to step away from the game because of something like a fire alarm going off. You cant just sit in your room while its going off. you have to leave the room or have potential of being fined and arrested for not leaving. but you have to write the reason and be accepted by your team not just your pause and no say and gives the reason to the other team.

That seems like a lot of work. In the event of an eminent disaster, I'll take the safety of my person over a video game loss.

yeah ive been demoted twice because I lost a game because I had to afk due to a fire alarm
