Is anyone else hoping that FeralPony will bring start working on Omen again? I love FeralPony's work on Hecarim and Graves and would love to see Omen on the Fields of Justice. The model design for him was really good and it seems like he would of been an amazing addition to any team comp. Anyone else wanna see Omen make it to the league or is it just me?

I don't really, the only reason I want Omen in the league is because he's another monster. I love me some monsters. But Omen was horribly designed thematically and his "talked about" skill ideas were all bland imo.

I think Omen is a cool idea, and still could and should be released. I have a few ideas for him here.

His Q should be three short consecutive skill shots, and if he hits all three, the target of the last one takes extra damage and is slowed.

His W should be a burst of spikes around him, dealing damage to all enemies in the burst.

His E should be a targeted dash that gives the enemy a pod. After 3 seconds the pod bursts dealing damage and spawning a lesser demon, which attacks nearby enemies.

Finally, his ultimate ability should be him blinking in and out of inadvisability randomly, and every time he comes out, he deals AOE damage, and getting empowered basic attacks.

Hope you guys like these ideas!

I would still like to see him. I was unfamiliar with his original kit and lore but I like his model. Thematically you could pool him in with the Shadow Isles. Run him like a ad caster, or off-meta adc depending on how you set up his scales. (The way I am looking at it you probably have to start with a rank in R)

Passive: Spikes taint the ground in a small radius around them debuffing the armor and mr of units standing in their radius. Spikes disappear over time and do not stack. Omen's melee attacks on tainted soil heal a small portion of %Missing hp.

Q: Passive- When Omen is within 900 units of "wounded prey" his move speed is increased slightly when moving toward the prey and his auto attacks against them are empowered (dealing %missing HP).
Active: Omen's Melee attacks restore a portion of %missing mana

W: For a small period of time partially burrows leaving spikes exposed
- immobilized/unable to attack, decreased damage taken, reflects damage when melee attacked

E: Lesser demons Hollow out the ground underneath the rift in a circle over 0.5 seconds (Can be cast during W and R)
- Enemy champions in the radius after the 0.5s are shortly stunned followed by a short immobilization

R: Toggle- Omen anchors his claws in the ground becoming immobile. Until toggled off his Auto attacks are replaced by a long range (artillery style) spike attack.
-Omen fires spikes from his back scaling 100%-120% of ad that have a slight travel time (ie can be dodged) and a small damage radius (shown by an indicator on the ground). These attacks will fire at your attack speed and will land at your last right click.

Hitting targets with spikes grants stacks of "wounded prey". This stacks 5 times each stack improves the power of the buff. At max stacks grants "Omen of the Damned" which if consumed provides a 400-550 unit blink to the damned and the empowered damage on the next AA is true.

The mana restore on his q is to create a balance between R stance and AA's during laning. If you fire r until oom and were accurate enough you have applied "Omen of the Damned" and can use its pressure to zone and farm at melee range until it wears off. Poor accuracy means oom omen has to farm at melee range at his own peril. Ultimately I am assuming he is in the off-meta adc role for that interaction.

Setting up his R to crit offers a balance between running him adc or sacrificing damage to run him ad bruiser. Having the %missing hp damage per stack on q scale with bonus AD should mean people who decide to go tanky don't have exorbitant amount of damage when hunting their prey.

Champ interactions with his taint could be improved. I think he should be rewarded for strategic placement of a few spikes before hunting but the current rewards are kind of generic. Also went with wounded prey motif because nasus has soul eater monopolized.

I guess the same thing could work with ap instead but this feels more natural especially with the new emphasis on adc diversity.
