Beginning Ranked

Hi all! So I've been playing for about 2 months now, and recently hit 30 and was wondering if anyone could give me some tips on whether I should start playing ranked yet. I've had some friends tell me to wait and learn more champs, master all of my roles, and make sure I have complete rune pages for all my roles. And as I agree with them, I wanted to get more feedback from the community! Any response is greatly appreciated! Thanks everyone.

Well season is ending in 3 days. U could play your placement and hope to get placed in gold or silver for cute borders. And if u do really good u might be placed in low gold and get sivir skin!
