Are placements also decided by your own performance?

Im currently one win and 2 losses. I find i get an afk every 2 games or so. Im going for as minimal deaths as possible and have only 5 over the 3 so far. Will good kda increase my chance of being placed higher? (Also wards and stuff)

Just match results as far as I know. There's a wiki explaining it (google league ranking system)

The entirety of the ranked system is based on solely wins/losses. That's it, no caveats, no special rules, just wins/losses.
