There needs to be some kind of fix for the skin boost that gives a 200 ip boost and unlocks skins. I like to do this for teams i play with but it kind of sucks when you purchase it and someone bails and you lose the rp. Can there be a way to make it so when we buy it that if someone bails that the rp is not used.

Zwill reached out to me and I wanted to clear up any confusion.
The RP for ARAM Skin Boosts are only removed from your account after a game of ARAM has been successfully completed (in Victory/Defeat). If there was a dodge in Champ Select, or if the game crashed for everyone and never ended, your RP will not be removed. You can learn more about this in our FAQ Article.
More specifically, I double-checked smeagledorf's account to verify this, and confirmed that every recent deduction of RP, has an accompanied completed game of ARAM recorded.
Let me know if anyone has any further concerns! :)

Last night, some guy bought one for our team, but me and another guy had went afk while the game was finishing/loading, and we didnt choose a skin. Now, I dont really care about seeing a skin, but it seemed like a bit of a waste for a guy who just spent RP.
I'm sure for whoever does that, its a buzzkill to see 2-3 of your teammates not have a skin on. Which mostly happens when people go get a drink/use the restroom, whatever, while the countdown is happening and the game is loading.

Nothing more, so i hope it gets fixed for some reason it doesn't happen every time so idont know if its a glitch in the system or what. But i know my rp was 95 less after the people bailed from champion select. And for people that think its a waste well to me it isn't, because it really makes the group happier the only waste is when it does not return the rp if someone bails.

We haven't found an incident where this has happened yet. However, if you have a specific example, or even a day you know it happened on, please let me know! I want to investigate it to make sure it doesn't happen again. If you don't actually play the ARAM, you should not lose RP. Period.
