There needs to be some kind of fix for the skin boost that gives a 200 ip boost and unlocks skins. I like to do this for teams i play with but it kind of sucks when you purchase it and someone bails and you lose the rp. Can there be a way to make it so when we buy it that if someone bails that the rp is not used.

Zwill reached out to me and I wanted to clear up any confusion.
The RP for ARAM Skin Boosts are only removed from your account after a game of ARAM has been successfully completed (in Victory/Defeat). If there was a dodge in Champ Select, or if the game crashed for everyone and never ended, your RP will not be removed. You can learn more about this in our FAQ Article.
More specifically, I double-checked smeagledorf's account to verify this, and confirmed that every recent deduction of RP, has an accompanied completed game of ARAM recorded.

kinda odd that happens, since if you reroll and someone dodges, you get your rolls back.
Pretty sure it's 100 ip unless they changed it, and if you're trying to say that if someone queue dodges you lose the rp, that's stupid and should be fixed
...Just used a skin boost last night, lost, and guess what? Still got an IP bonus. Are you sure the missing boost isn't for not having a per win/per day boost active?

Whats odd to me is how long has this been going on because that is free rp for rito, i mean if someone bails they get there rp no matter what.
I believe it should give you a random skin if you dont choose, too. Last night, some guy bought one for our team, but me and another guy had went afk while the game was finishing/loading, and we didnt choose a skin. Now, I dont really care about seeing a skin, but it seemed like a bit of a waste for a guy who just spent RP.
I'm sure for whoever does that, its a buzzkill to see 2-3 of your teammates not have a skin on. Which mostly happens when people go get a drink/use the restroom, whatever, while the countdown is happening and the game is loading.
I wish we had an option to pay with IP instead of RP.

This, and randomly not getting to use the skin. I bought a skin boost the other day, hit select on the skin it gave me, loaded in with classic skin
I find it hilarious that people even waste 95 rp on 1 game skin boosts
All i know is it happend to me 3 times, this post was all about bringing attention to it. Nothing more, so i hope it gets fixed for some reason it doesn't happen every time so idont know if its a glitch in the system or what. But i know my rp was 95 less after the people bailed from champion select. And for people that think its a waste well to me it isn't, because it really makes the group happier the only waste is when it does not return the rp if someone bails.
I have spent another 10 dollars to see if it would happen and recorded with OBS, all i can say is it didn't happen i wish i was recording at the time but i wasn't, so i will keep recording if i use again and see if it pops up, Thank you for looking into it.
And i did not post this to get rp or money back i do not want that it was only my intention to bring this to riots attention.
But wat if you own all the skin for a champ then someone uses skin boost? What would happen then?
