Why doesn't anyone like Gangplank, I mean c'mon.

So, I remember I first tried Gangplank soon after I started playing LoL, sometime around the release of thresh maybe or Kha'zix. Anyways, I thought he was fun to play, and I unlocked him, and leveled my account to 30 with his help no doubt(I didn't only play him because back then Taric was a damn bush campin king damnit the bursts baby). However when I got into ranked, I was seeing all that people thought he was a flippin' weak champ, even nowadays people are like, ewwww gangplank(mostly because I midlane or adc with him...). But I can 1v2 a jungler and the midlaner under the right circumstances without even being that far ahead while still early in the game. I use 15/15/0 masteries, my runes are Red ad yellow armor and blue MR. At lvl 1, my starting off game is so strong, not a single champ in the game can go toe-to-toe with me. By lvl 2 I have more ad than any other ad, but here's what I'm saying, Gangplank starts with more hp and more ad at the same time than any other champ, while still having mobility. I use barrier/ignite. In the middle lane, I will start 10 ad item, giving me roughly 90 ad. If I can get sheen by lvl 6, I will push the lane, and bait an enemy gank. I will then 1v2 successfully and then be in lead for the rest of the game. Gangplank is a damned captain. I also ap gangplank. GANKGPLANK, phD.
