The hacker known as Poodlecorp, who also hacked Redmercy 3 days, has hacked the US league servers causing them to go down. This is for everyone who does not know why they can't log in.

Jesus, some of these people are just pathetic. Like holy crap. "mummy didn't love me so I need to get everyone's attention because I think I'm special." I think this guy is total garbage. I was having server issues long before he posted LOL was down. Taking credit for Riot's server problems and acting like he hacked it.
It was them guys. I was in game and all of a sudden everything crashed. We were able to finish the game but after that i checked poodlecorp's twitter and saw that it was them. Also i couldn't log back in and could only exit league by closing the window from the desktop.
