level 7 mastery

I feel like it's almost fucking impossible to get an S- let alone an S while playing support. I could fucking go 0/0/45 and still not get an S- I struggled to get level 6 mastery on thresh and when i do pretty damn good on each game, I get an A or an A-. I've gotta scores around 5/2/30 but still don't get an S, while my mid laner going 8/5/2 gets a fucking S+. What kind of shit is that?

Riot needs to fucking make it easier to get S on the support role, it's fucking rediculous

I think what could up your grade is if you roamed a lot in the early/mid game.

I main thresh as well and I found it quite easy to get my level 7 mastery on thresh. A little under 12 games and got to rank 6 and 7 with that amount of games, now I'm not sure how you specifically play but here's usually what I kept myself on top of while getting the masteries:

Prioritizing warding/scanning as much as possible (Upgrade scanner and use it everytime it's up, and buy pinks as well to place them frequently along with your sightstone wards)
Ran ignite every game
Got first blood when hitting level 2 first almost every game
Roamed to mid and got a kill using whatever it took
I always use the shields on Face of the Mountain and Locket of Iron Solari when needed, also Locket is my first item every game (after sightstone and boots) as well as Lucidity boots every game.
Used the shield on lantern to get all the assists as possible

I also questioned how I only got a A or A+ in those games but I do believe doing everything consistently listed above does help, along with the most obvious one about having a positive KD.

Here's a big problem: you're focusing only on KDA. While I don't know the specifics, there's a whole lot more that goes into the grading system than just your KDA.
