I don't mean customer service. There are people who vehemently hate Riot, but still play the game. Also, people who don't like the boards, but use them to bitch about their existence. You'd have better luck with a single thread/petition with all the GD signatures to get the old forums back.

Riot and the game are still not the same thing. There are parts of the company I certainly don't like, but I still enjoy the game. From that perspective, I can easily understand how someone could feel much more strongly about more of the company than me, but still enjoy the game. It is free-to-play, after all, so simply playing the game doesn't offer much support to the company itself.
The boards aren't going anywhere, so, no, nobody would have better luck with a single petition thread to bring back the old. What the complaints CAN do is point out things about the boards that need to be improved or changed.

Good points. Hadn't really thought about number two. I get it that no one's getting rid of boards, and I like it that way. Just think that a group of people is a mob--a group of people with signs is a protest.

It's hard for me to separate a company from their product. IE: Apple shits on its customers with products, but has decent customer service. I won't buy from them unless I absolutely must. Riot hasn't done anything that's really THAT bad (even if they ruined Sion thematically), so I'll play their game and enjoy myself.

I find it incredibly important to distinguish between the two... and even more than that, really. I think it is not only important to distinguish the game from the company, but to distinguish parts of the game and parts of the company. At this point, I would almost describe my feelings for the Narrative team as something close to utter disgust. Love the art team, though, and I think Gameplay Balance is in a fairly good position compared to when the game first started. The forum moderators are pretty bad, in that they are overzealous and silent. In fact, the entire pseudoscientific player behavior crew is questionable to me. I hate solo queue, especially since the introduction of the Leagues system, and I'm not big on how little support Dominion and Twisted Treeline get. I still like to play them every now and then, but mostly I stick to ARAMs, team ranked, Team Builder, and the featured game modes.

It's important because if you don't distinguish between them, the negative often overwhelms the positive. I think it is important not to let how I feel about the current state of the lore to color my feelings toward a nerf of one of my favorite champions. If those feelings mingle, I overreact, and that isn't helpful.

Earlier in the year I had accumulated somewhere around 60k-70k IP just on the off chance that Riot might one day actually have a rune sale. I mean, they've had at least 3 rune page sales that I could remember up to that point, so I figured maybe it was a matter of time. Well, eventually I got tired of waiting and blew through all of that IP on runes. One or two weeks later there was our first rune sale. So in a way, I think I can empathize with your situation, even if it is different.

Even 98 is rough... Having gone from Bronze 5 all the way to silver 4 this season, This has happened to me 11 times... (mostly because I kept losing my Bronze 1 series because of general baddies).

I went ALL THE WAY to silver 4 in less than a 2 weeks tyvm. From Bronze 5 to Bronze 1 in 4 days. As soon as I began playing regularly I jumped more than a division. I think I have the right to blame 8-10 afks/rage quitters/intentional feeders while in my B1 series. I don't blame people who play badly. They can be carried and if spoken to correctly can be improved if youare not toxic when they are not playing well (as I have no doubt you do). DCs, however, cannot be carried. Don't be so aggressive when posting about other people's opinions/ranked accomplishments. It says very little of you and makes you sound like that guy that everyone refers to their "toxic player" anecdotes. Think before you post. Please and thank you.
