A new way to buy our beloved RP

I thought of a new way to buy rp, riot could make 1 rp worth a certain amount and you punch in the amount that you want then it gives you the exact amount you want and your not left with that annoying 974 rp. RIOT PLZ

Thats the way the system is designed, you entice users to buy more RP because they have some left over, i doubt thats going to change anytime soon :)

Yeah, it's the exact same method that Xbox Live uses.

However, Steam uses a wallet that has minimum balance purchases, yet allows you to buy exact amounts as long as you are over that, at least to the point that you can just buy exactly the thing you want. I don't see why that wouldn't work for League as well.

Still not bloody likely though.

Yes and the reason for that is actually down to microsoft, pretty sure i remember them being taken to court because there is a difference between purchasing a product directly i.e a game on steam and purchasing something like RP, when you purchase RP you're purchasing those points you're not directly purchasing x skin, if the skins had actual prices then yes they would do it just like steam/PSN but like with most games they will instead sell you a set of points you can use for purchases in a different store, the system you describe would "work" with league but its not as likely to make quite as much money :)
