Disconnecting vs. Leaving Games

So I've been having this issue lately and it's kind of freaking me out where I'll disconnect from my game. I'm in Florida so the only net I can afford is Brighthouse and I'm playing on a laptop cause broke college student can't afford desktop. Anyway, I think it would be cool if there was a way for team members to do a quick survey about players leaving the game due to rage quit or disconnecting. It's kind of uncool to get banned from League when it's literally your net crapping out on you and you can't do shit about it.

I feel for you, man. I'm stuck on a laptop too. I think that maybe the game should track people's ping numbers throughout the game, and then feed that to the leavebuster system so it can tell the difference between connection issues and actual afkers. Of course, this wouldn't override reports or anything, but it may help.

I agree, there should be a distinction between the two, although I still think you should get punished, I don't think you should be punished as severely as a rage quitter.

Like this guy from yesterday, who I've banned and reported, but riot keeps matching me with:

I had a leaverbuster do the same thing to me last year, and I've NEVER left a game on purpose, however, it motivated me to find the root cause of my troubles, and realized it was Comodo Firewall Hueristics starting up during the game, while in 'game mode' and taking over my cpu entirely...

You know what is really annoying? When the game kicks you out when you log back in. Because, buying items doesn't mean you are "back" item 3070
