Giving in League

I just bought my buddy the Dunkmaster Darius skin (He is an AMAZING Darius main but doesn't really have the funds to buy RP etc.). I got it for him to show my thanks, and he legit started crying and wouldn't stop thanking me. This is why I love giving in League, and more people outta do it! It shows how much you really care about your friends, and the reactions are priceless! Maybe talk about some of your gifts to friends and their reactions down below, I would enjoy reading about them! :D

I know every time a student buys me a skin, even a dinky 5 dollar one, it really means a lot to me. I teach people about this game for free because I really enjoy it, and it makes all the difference when they show me how much they appreciate how I helped them.

A friend of mine saw I was down one day, I mean like legit depressed. He knew I liked to play Sona , so he decided to go ahead and get me DJ Sona just to cheer me up and give me a bad ass skin to use in game. I don't know how to show him my appreciation for it. Seriously, I have no friggen clue how. That's just the story I have to share.

giving (except the traditional one like for a birthday or christmas) is a yet another way to feel yourself better than another person

I usually gift at least one of the people on my buddy list once a week! ive giving people a lot of high price skins (mainly through Mystery Gift) and while nothing has been as serious as you describe TC, i can say on two occasions. ive gifted a friend PulseFire Ezreal. she was just starting to play league and was really liking Ezreal. i decided to Mystery Gift her and bam Ultimate Skin unlocked! thats the only ultimate skin i have been able to give. Another time was when i just decided to gift a random person on my friends list and they gotten Infernal Nasus!
