Getting S ranks when you have no chests available

So I don't know if this is just me, but I have this amazing talent where I get all 4 of my available chests for a month, and then get a bunch of S ranks on new champions within the days after while I'm at 0 chests. Then, once I am able to earn chests again, I suddenly can't top an A+. I now have four chests available and four champions in my pool that have a season best of S- or better, but no chests earned for them.

Suggestion: When you gain the ability to earn an additional chest, the game should check to see if you've already have any champions that have an S- or better and no chest, and just give you the chest.

I hate feeling like I was cheated out of a chest when I play well on a chestless champ during an off week, or how this kind of thing encourages me to not play new champions until I can earn chests again.

Or.... You can just play the game and you will get better and then the chests come naturally.

Implementing your solution would reduce the amount of chests they can sell. I think the current setup is fair, they give it to you for free if you earn it while it's available. If you can't get an S rank to get your chest when it's available, then you can buy it for pretty cheap.
