About the toxicity

Hey Riot, i just read the article where you were breaking down group B for worlds. As i am reading it i come to a quote where double lift is talking about Fanatic and he says, "Fnatic is really f**king good. I think they could easily make a run into the Finals. I just think they're super good. They're definitely miles ahead of the rest".

so i don't mind that he swore, but the fact that the F-word is there and Boldly there, even if it is a quote, is what is getting to me. because you make it a Thing, that when someone swears inside of the game you want them reported. But there is swearing in some of your videos, and i am not talking about VOD's(as these are live recordings of the game as it happened), and there is swearing in some of your articles.

so is it okay to swear? or is it not okay to swear? and idk if this is even a big issue to a lot of people, but to me and to some others it is. so i just decided to write about it. i don't even think i presented my point that well, but at least i said something about it

It's generally fine to swear as long as you aren't being an asshole about it.

There's a big divide between "That was fing awesome!" and "You're fing cancerous garbage."

Don't be an ass, and everything should usually work out okay. ;)

Swearing - in and of itself - is not considered toxic. Which, personally, I'm glad of, because I swear in nearly every game I play. However, using swears to accent negative statements directed at other players is often considered more than a little toxic.

I'm fine with his language because of the context that he used for it. It wasn't used as a form of hate speech, degrading term or worse.

Thank God we live in America where we have a little thing called "Freedom of Speech".
