Please Don't Rework Xerath

Just because he isn't as popular as other mids doesn't mean he's bad or not viable. Don't rework Xerath he's just as good as other popular mages.

I main Xerath and the rework was needed. This issue was that Xerath was to easy to counter or was to hard to counder with no inbetween. Making his Arcanepulse a skill that allowsyou to control the lenght and reposition yourself greatly help him from being ganked and improve his poke abliity. Locust of power increased his range but at the cost of immoblity, once again making him easy to gank. You do get the speed boost when leaving this state but:

1- Xerath is a slow champ so even with a speed boost he won't be able to escape unless playing against another slow champ.

2- You never want anyone close to you as Xerath.

Its good that they replaced it with a slow giving him more CC and making the range as far as arcane blast. You can now play Xerath with more tactics. His "e" the stun was good but it required that you hit the marked champ. This means the stun could be a hit or miss. Also like annie passive, if old Xerath hit you with the stun you knew he was going to have to follow up with a skill or the stun would be useless. The new stun allow you catch them by suprise. His old ult was the coolest skill he had, however his new ult give him the highest markman range in the game and come in vere useful when you need to one hit a champ for a kill. Helps provent escapes and can be use to ward off people form a turrent if you cant get there in time.

The other issue is that Xerath could only be a mid-mage and had no ablilies that should assist team besides out poking. How he can slow, stun and better isolate champs. You can accually play him as a support now by focusing youn your slows and stuns. He just more versatile.

statistics say different... personally i have found he just doesn't fit the current meta and can be viable. but i'm okay with reworking him, the new rework sounds sweet too.

People mainly felt that Xerath wasn't living up to his proposed playstyle (long range arcane siege engine) and that he was a bit boring to play. On both counts I would agree. The rework looks pretty interesting.
