Early morning players

Tonight (or rather this morning) I noticed something, people who play in the early morning hours are toxic players who whine about everything. I go into draft pick, and since a year and a half ago I, along with everyone else I have played with, go by pick order. The guy with last pick calls top, and me being first pick blue side, very politely said that I was going top as I have first pick. Then every person on my team proceeded with the usual, you're a fa***t, you noob, no one does that any more. I usually don't play very late into the night so this was my first time with people who are playing this late. Is this normal? Because the people that I usually end up with are not this bad.
