I played Nunu for the first time an hour ago and actually had a lot of fun in the jungle. But in battle could do little more than slow the enemies escape. I feel if his bit were available to use against champs he would have a better chance of surviving or even winning 1v1 bouts. What do y'all think?

It'd be a late game, farmed Nasus without actually having to farm. Or better yet, imagine being able to smite enemy champions every 9 seconds. Though it'd be incredibly hilarious, but it'd also be pretty broken. :(
Building dmg on Nunu will make those snowballs chunk my friend.

Roaranor3 votesOP didn't indicate an altered or lessened version of the the skill. They simply said the skill as is being available to use on champions, which would be pretty over-powered (like a 9 second Chogath ult).
Besides, their initial concern was feeling as though they didn't output enough dmg as Nunu playing the first time, in which building dmg would solve the problem. Nunu's kits itself is more centered around utility than raw damage to begin with. Giving him a larger window to output damage on top of that might make him just a tad too strong imo.
JackAqua1 votesI respect your opinion but not your ways of tapping about this thread. Simply assuming there would be no changes is ridiculous, one has to be more open to such ideas and consider the possibility of balance.
I fear Riot does not do this most of the time, however that is but a suspicion.
