Yeah it was a thing in S1/2 where you could use alt codes when creating your summoner name, it was removed in late S2 or early S3, cant remember.

Also, it is not the jobs of your teammates to carry you but your job to carry them. It is a hard concept to understand in low silver when you are still beginning the climb but as you climb further and further it will all start to make more sense.
