Can't wait until this season is over and Riot can try to fix this bulls***

Just played a ranked game (first mistake), and this weekend ranked has been an absolute sh*tshow (second mistake). This game I was feeling really good about as my support and I started off really well. Suddenly we realize that our Gnar and Annie are doing poorly. After giving 3 kills respectively to their lane, they AFK without saying a word. This was the end result. 3 v 5, and the efforts of my support and I absolutely dismissed in what became a losing effort. Annie would come back, but only to skip around base a few times and get caught out a couple more times.

But hey, let's make sure that Zyra gets the 20+ IP she deserves, while Blitz, Wukong and I get shafted, right?

Please tell me I'm not the only one who feels this way about the Ranked system. How am I supposed to make progress in the ranks if I am constantly held back by others? Doesn't that defeat the purpose of me having a solo rank?
