Really enjoy all the reports
from people who are playing terribly in lane but talk shit to me all game and then report me for no reason other than they are blaming me for their faults. then i get warnings. awesome.

Warnings are just automated showing "Hey someone reported you." They literally do nothing towards current or future punishment. You could have been kind and helpful and them report you and that message shows up, it literally means nothing otherwise.
Yeah, the notifications are something Riot is trying to give players quicker feedback so they can check themselves before they wreck themselves. They aren't looking to hand out free bans if you were concerned that might happen
