@Riot Position Box Idea (during Champion Selection)

After playing LoL for about a few months now, I've noticed team players would bicker over who called out a particular position first during champion selection. The useless bickering motivated me to think of a way Riot could improve the current champion selection system. I redesigned the champion selection layout by inserting a "Position" box next to the "Team Chat" box.

The idea I had was that Summoners choose their lane positions before choosing their champions. Once a Summoner chooses his/her lane, an automatic message pops up on the "Team Chat" box saying the Summoner's name followed by his/her lane position (e.g. Inaerius: Support). Hence, Summoners would find their positions based on who clicks the position first rather than who called the position first. Once a Summoner snatches that position (shown as the green check mark symbol), it is locked from other players to select his/her position (shown as the red X). Blank boxes would indicate that the position is still available (e.g. Top Lane (Duo)). After selecting their positions, Summoners can begin choosing their champions.

Players can hover their mice over the boxes to see who took a particular position. This would give players an indication of who is going where and a chance for Summoners to negotiate to another Summoner via "Team Chat" for a particular position (e.g. You want to be in "Top Lane (Solo)" instead of "Support"). A Summoner can choose to deselect their position in order to allow another Summoner ally to choose that particular position.

What do you guys think? I don't know if Riot is already investigating this idea or I'm simply reiterating someone else's idea on another thread (couldn't find any similar threads other than the Team Builder idea I found, which I thought was pretty cool as well)

Teambuilder is coming in soon, so there is no more need for a solution :D
