Buying/Building a New Computer

Greetings, fellow LoL Players (seeing as we're not Summoners any more),

After starting a new job last month I've recently found myself in possession of a little disposable income. Seeing as the computer that I am currently typing this on is a 6 year old laptop that can't even play League on the lowest settings without occasionally belching smoke I figure it's high-time to invest in a new computer, namely a desktop. Unfortunately, when it comes to choosing computers or computer parts my knowledge tends to clock in at around 'Bugger All' and 'Jack-point-Squat.' So I turn to you, my fellow players and LoL enthusiasts.

My needs are fairly simple, all I'm looking for is a comp (pre-built or custom) that can run League at max settings while keeping the frame rate at a steady 60 FPS. Bear in mind I'm not looking for some monster rig that can play all the latest games at 'ULTRA MAXIMUM MEGA BLOOM HOLY SHIT CHECK THAT AMBIENT OCCLUSION, SON!' My income isn't that disposable. Something in the $400-$500 range should do.

You should go to an actual tech site, anywhere better. I could help, but I don't feel like typing much, and there's two main problems with your criteria.

$400-500. Not enough for what you're asking. running max at a steady 60, 400-500 would get you AT MOST a video card/motherboard/hard drive if you find a lucky sale/combo pack. You'd be better off doubling your money pool and then buying.

To keep it short, you don't have enough spare money for what you're asking for.
