Dominion Bot Mitigation

I just wanted to start a discussion on ways to mitigate the damage of farming bots to the game. Dominion is obviously the most prevalent place that we see bots running wild, but if not properly addressed, there is nothing to keep it from invading other venues. As a computer programmer that specializes in automated software for health testing, let me say, Captcha is extremely effective at thwarting bots. I'm not sure I am a fan of adding Captcha to game joins, but it would certainly be effective.

The other option is deterrence. To take away the incentive, you have to make the risk of being caught and losing everything higher than the benefit gained. If there is an effective mechanism for reporting, confirming, and deleting accounts, then you can tip the cost/benefit scale.
