Dodgers and Trolls

Quite frankly I am getting really sick of all these dodgers and trolls in the champ select. It's getting too out of hand and ridiculous. Now I know we've all been there, you have a decent team going and suddenly some little troll on the other team decides to dodge because they don't get their lane. So you get put back into queue and what happens? You get paired with trolls. It happens too often and I think it's just getting out of hand. I understand people may dodge for whatever reasons, I myself am sometimes forced to dodge if i see like four out of the five people are clearly trolling or if someone is highly toxic. But there's gotta be some sort of leverage in dodging because I see it happen a lot when i go to draft or blind. They even state they will dodge and 'wait the five minutes' because its not a big deal in terms of punishment. Now you may be saying "well why don't you just go to team builder?" and I do because i get tired of people fighting over lanes, but we know that team builder takes way too long to find matches most times. I'm sorry if I may be ranting a bit but I'm just really frustrated with this. I think there should be a way to limit the way people abuse dodging and to not punish everybody because of it. Maybe we can have the slot of the person who leaves lobby to search another player instead of regrouping everyone on the team? (kind've like how the team builder is set up?) Just a suggestion but what do you guys think?

I do not know man. Dodger on the other team can also save you from trolls. Every time somebody dodges and you get new team it is equally likely that you will get a 'good team', somebody dodging does not affect that. Keep looking for this game-losing factor, but maybe try to introspect more instead of looking for the outside source of loss, especially as ridiculous as que-dodging by others.

More likely than not, the people on the other team dodged because of trolls and because you stayed in the queue, you got the trolls on your team the next match instead.

IMO, it's always best to leave queue after anyone dodges. You let the trolls from the previous lobby get into another match and you don't have people banning your picks because they saw them once already.

I don't really have a problem with dodging, though. With the amount of trolls in this game, I wish we could dodge more...

Correct me if I'm wrong... you just said you dodge, but you want someone to do something about the dodgers? Crime wouldn't be so damned high if I stopped robbing banks...

It's not that I rob banks, but I'd like the option for the future...

Darn trolls... I'm on their team... even though a dodge puts them on a cooldown timer before they can re-queue, so you're actually in the lobby with whomever they dodged to avoid.

So the Dodgers are in fact people that wanted to avoid the trolls. Any time "Summoner has left" and I get re-queued I jump out of queue, wait a few minutes, then re-queue... someone dodged and they did it for a reason, and I don't want to find out what that reason was.

You missed the point completely. I stated that I am sometimes forced to dodge because someone was being toxic or the team was obviously trolling and fighting (three top, support jungler, etc). My point was that yes I know people are forced to dodge for whatever circumstances like the examples given. I know that dodging does help out if you are stuck with a bad team but my point is that some people are just abusing the dodge system

As stated above, people dodge for whatever circumstance it may be, be it trolls, toxicity, whatever.

As noted in my original post, "Now I know we've all been there, you have a decent team going and suddenly some little troll on the other team decides to dodge because they don't get their lane." As you can see, there is a distinct difference between dodging for reason and dodging just because you want to screw over the team. My point in fact isn't about the dodging however. My point is that I am frustrated with the fact that you get a good team one second, then all of sudden someone decides to dodge and you get put back in queue and you suddenly get a team comprised of trolls.
