Changing Twisted Fate's destiny icon was the the last straw. I'm sorry Riot.

I just got done reading on reddit about how great the meta is right now, and really, I have to agree. The game is coming along well, and it's been fun to get back into it during my spring break. However, Riot has continually shown that they have no pittance for the past: and I don't mean holding on to every last detail from 2009, but rather, remembering how the company used to act. Caring, personal, and with connectivity to its users.

To me, changing Destiny's icon to the redrawn cartoon it is now is the last straw. It's just the last thing that I want to see when I lock in my favorite champion, with my favorite skin, to see that they've taken away that last vestige from back when Riot was a company with people, not profits. And that's alright, but I'd like to express this in tandem with a warning, to Riot: defying the grounding that made you great is the first sign of destruction from within. The model of my PAX twisted fate has even been modified to look extra anime like, and it's annoying how they just change things because they believe the new is better.

With how Tryndamere has handled things recently to "the best of his knowledge," to the changes that have come about the monopolization of the competitive scene, it's harder and harder to see a true lengthy future for League of Legends. Not that that has to do with redoing the MS Paint artwork that was TF's icon, but this was simply the breaking point for me.

Good luck, have fun.
