I am really , really tired of them of bashing Noxians left and right. Like with many of the trailers or teasers they have Noxus loosing. kled ,bard, new dawn, kayn. List goes on. I really don't feel Noxians are particularly bad. Just miss lead. Reason why I bring this up. Darius is my favorite champion. I been drawing him consistently for 4 years. 4 years of fanart! Rping and everything. All I have ever seen from Darius is get wrecked. They calm Noxians are these total cool guys and whatever. But all I been seeing is this one sided. Aside from him walking through freljord. He didn't do anything. New Dawn was worst Half the team was Noxian. They all got wrecked! I feel this is so one sided. Good always prevails or whatever. With this new champion Kayn? Darius is struggling to reach his axe. A noxian general veteran. On the floor? Not just one general but two? Sion and than Darius?

I spent over maybe $200 on boxes to get dreadnova Darius. $200! Even though he looks like swain. But I bought cause I loved the character that much. I didn't care about the price.

But now I don't even care any more. I really considering leaving league entirely. After putting $ 1,500 into it, and even considering a tattoo. (almost) I feel they killed Darius for me. I am really upset. How much bashing he gets. The only thing that's keeping me here barely is whenever the Noxian lore update. I heard it was coming around the Urgot update. Rumors or whatever. I hope there is still for Darius not looking like a chump anymore.

My summoner name was previous (I love u Darius) But recently changed. Due to having him always ban in my rank and getting camped when they saw my name.

Hold up, are you seriously upset that a maniac had a day dream about killing to of the strongest melee combatants he knew?

It's like Jihn's teaser, it's what Kayn/the Darkin is thinking, not what actually happens.

Im sorry, but this is an odd thing to be so upset about to me. If you're going to like a villain you have to come to terms with the purpose of villains. They are enemies for the hero(es) to overcome, and so, usually, they will lose. That doesn't make me like them any less, personally. And my favorite LoL champs are villains.

I can see where you're coming from. Although I'm sure everyone's argument is going to be "Heroes prevail." There is good enough writing out there that at least shows that villians are badasses and fight for a cause just as the "Heroes" do. The only example I can think about is Avatar the Last Airbender. They make the Fire Nation to be this nation of high power that wiped everyone out with no mercy, but Aang infiltrates it and talks to the soldiers and they all fight and feel like what they're doing is just and cause. For the better of the nation. As is Darius, he feels like everything he's doing is for the better of Noxus. Riot just overshadows with, yes, the typical "Heroes over all" with literally anyone that's against Noxus to be the better guys. I get that they show their trials and tasks they did before they became powerful Noxians, in lore, but Noxians once they've chosen to stay, are considered dicks. lol. That's literally all anyone uses to describe Darius when I talk to them or generally when I mention Noxus.

If anything, I'd hope, that just.. Not even see Noxus winning just showing that "No mercy" isn't the only thing they have known about them. I don't think I've ever taken "No mercy" as a bad trait either. (especially in a game where objectives are met, usually, by killing one another) It definitely feels like something more could be done with Noxus as a whole. The lore rework or whatever those are haven't been done for Noxus yet, so I suppose there's still that. If I'm gonna be honest, I haven't read the lore for many champions. There have been prisoners in Demacia, they generally show no mercy when it comes to Noxians, if I'm correct. By patterns in full fledge heroes, most heroes don't want to kill anyone and have mercy to spare.

/shrug. (also, i feel you. my name used to be "Darius kun", although it's still technically a darius quote "I'm the full package; play maker, spine breaker")

in urgot's old lore he was noxian so he might get a cool release trailer as well showing off noxian prowess

There's a pretty cool Darius animation out there with wolves and stuff. But other than that this is a strange thing to be so upset about.

Kled's a Noxian. I think that technically counts. Not to mention that the only reason Noxus "lost" in the Bard trailer was because Bard kept a highly dangerous artifact out of human hands. They held no ill will towards Noxus, and it was otherwise a massive victory for Noxus. Also keep in mind that most stories so far are being told through the eyes of Noxus' enemies. Would they really want to tell stories of Noxus beating them? It's bad for morale. Don't get me wrong, I love Noxus. It's my second favorite nation after Zaun. I just think that once we get to see things from Zaun's side things will get a bit less clear in terms of who's winning.

To be fair, and as a darius main, they made Darius look like a total badass in new dawn going down swinging bare handed. But this new Kayne login does kinda suck. One redeeming feature is that a rioter mentioned how that wasn't a reality, but rather how Kayne/rhaast imagined things going. Of course Kayne or rhaast would never beat darius, Darius is a man Kayne is a little preteen boy.
