I'm seeing a lot of people making basically the same post..."I was Silver, and after my placements I got put in low Bronze, wtf." Here's the deal: you weren't in Silver.

Go to your op.gg profile and look at the details on the games that you played before the reset. Those players in your games are all listed as Bronze 3, Bronze 4, Bronze 5. (That's where they are now, not what they were at the time you played them.) Why? Because you were Bronze 3 or Bronze 4, and you were matched with other people who were just as unskilled. The Silver border that you earned at the end of the season was a trophy for having won the promos out of Bronze I at one point. After that point, you fell down into low Bronze. Your profile still said Silver 5, but that's not where your MMR was.

The people in your games right now are not that different than the people you were playing. Yes, there are some showing up who are better and some showing up who are worse—that is the natural result of doing a reset, even a soft reset. The difference is that your deceptive Silver badge finally got removed and your actual place on the ladder is now showing. If you want it back, earn it back. If you can't get wins, learn. And if you honestly don't believe that hundreds of games of ranked accurately measures your skill, why were you proud of the Silver medal you just lost? (And why are you playing ranked at all?)

Yo. I was bronze 3 last season and you know what. I am probably gonna get silver. I love this ranking. To be honest I am kind of glad they get this reset. I get a restart and secondly if you are carrying just be these broken champions:

Fizz , Annie ( Mid )
Fizz , Lee Sin , Shen (Top)
Fizz , Shen , Taric or leo (support) ... RIOT please don't nerf leo I want to buy her ,but to scared.
Fizz , Warick , Lee sin , amumu jungle ( I main warick jungle if good enough with him should be able to carry out he is not meant for golds though could be wrong)
Caitlyn , Miss Fortune , Corki (Adc)

Notice how I said fizz all the time? I main fizz thats why. I could carry a game with support fizz. Either way if you were silver last year or gold you should be able to get it back. I am just now truely starting to play rank. I am gonna try to play rank all this season. Wish me luck. I might not try rank with leo untill I learn her ,but how hard can leo be? All you have to do poke adc and protect your adc.

O yea teemo can carry to plat. I saw a friend do it. Idk. I am a crappy bronze player ,but haven't played much rank. I kind of wish riot wouldn't nerf fizz.

Riot should lower the prices ... Leo is still 4,800. Caitlyn idk how expensive she is ,but she is a 2010 champion. This is a ftp game. Why can't you lower your darn prices. If I recall they promise never to raise the skins to that price ,but they did. They are greedy. They will eventually will lose players or make more money ,but really riot start managing the prices on your champions its 2015.

Gotta say if I can find 2010 champions that are very expensive. Thats gonna be sad. Even 4,800 is bad. Do you guys do it manually or what or do you have a rioter who makes the ip for champions. You do realize you will eventually start losing new players or maybe even low 20s. I need to make a post about this ,but the prices on this game are horrible. Getting money off of teenagers , and adults. I don't think I will ever buy rp points or stick with league of legend in the long run if you don't nerf the prices. Really someone make a post about this for me.

Thats a reason you should quit league. Don't quit because of rank. Quit because of the high outrageous prices and skins cost. Riot is coming greedy back in 2010 they weren't this greedy.

I don't ever remember them doing skins more than 1,200 rp! Lol.

Rito start managing your prices or you will lose me and im sure im the only only one who feels this way.

lol i lost a game, and now it seems i wont be winning any game anytime soon... i have 7 losses back to back. Riot has being placing me with really, really , REALLY BAD TEAMS. Teams that dont know how to gank, ping, group up, or even focus on objectives, just complete little 5 year old players not even playing. And im here trying my best, but the other teams are just sooooooo MUCH BETTER and the rest of my team are just dieing every 3 seconds... im not kidding.... every ... 3... seconds.. and once i get to help them out or even group up - its too late - theyre super fed. And they just end up eating me up too, but ofc im the very last one to do so. I have very good map awarness, i help out, i try my best, but 1 man is not enough, it takes the whole team to succeed. It seems to me im the only player who buys 3 wards and 1 pink every game, the only player who listens/ pings, the only player who has map awarness to help out others. Simple things. Now i just imagine how broken ranked matches are atm, i dont even want to play anymore.

Pushed to the turret? ward your own tribush or go into the jungle and toss the ward over the wall to watch the river. Jungle? grab an extra ward to place on dragon/baron so you know when it's up or if you can steal from the enemy.

You get 'consistant' feeders? Maybe help out on wards so they can, you know, see that gank coming in and retreat back to safety. And how many of those 'feeders' were a support or tank trying to cover your high-value-carry-butt's escape?
