Why are there not two Riot servers?
Is there anyone who can give a concrete answer to this question? Does this company not bring in enough revenue (for a free game at that) to support two, even three dedicated servers? Those of us with advertisement and economic understanding can see the reasoning behind the Chicago move, but that got me thinking of the obvious question; why are there not two servers? There are amateur game designers/production teams with several servers for their games, those of which have arguably no impact on the gaming market. So why not Riot of all names? No matter what any one says on the topic, the moving of this lonely server from one location on one side of the country all the way to the other side creates nothing but upheaval and dissent. Why not invest in two servers to support the Pacific AND the Atlantic? Would this not save future conflict (and create more jobs? ;))
