Permanently banned. First time ever receiving ban and its permanent.

Hi Dear Community, Sadly a short time ago I received notice that my account had been permanently suspended. Today I am here because I would like a bit more of an explanation than Riot was able to deliver and however unlikely it may be, possibly to get my account restored. I have had some trouble with Chat restrictions in the past and I know I have flamed etc. But I have only gotten chat restricted 2 times and I have finished both of them. The last time I was chat restricted I received almost only honors from when I received the restricts to when I finished them. I really have gotten a lot better than I was before but all the sudden my account has been permanently suspended. I link you here to a discussion from the past where another persons account was permanently suspended, as you will be able to read for yourself he received a 3 day ban, a 7 day ban, and a 14 day ban before his account was banned. http://forums.na.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?t=3386807 . I never received any sort of ban except for in game Chat restrictions before this and don't understand how I can get permanently banned without warning. The reason I got banned is because of 1 game. A game where I was extremely mad at the Shaco in our team since he flamed in the game Lobby. In the game its self he called our whole team noobs while he took 0 dragons, never ganked, never helped us for that matter and only blamed us for the loss. So I turned around and blamed him back. I admit not all of it was his fault. I recently went through a breakup and was having a really bad day anyways which made it a lot easier for me to get pissed very fast when he started to annoy me. My whole team ended up reporting this Shaco and they all blamed/flamed him in game too. So I certainly wasn't the only person to tell him to shut up a few times. I also never used Cuss words throughout the game which makes it even more surprising that Riot banned me and sent me the logs from that game. I don't find it fair for the punishment for this game to be this harsh, especially after the Shaco flamed at me, called me noob and quoted my stats multiple times when I wasn't doing well, people are aloud to flame you forever but you can't say a word to them? I think it's sorta funny that they say I was punished by the Tribunal even though the Tribunal is stated by Riot to be out of service at the moment and under maintenance. I will end this post here as I think it is long enough for 1 day. I thank you in advance for any Help and Advice on the matter. While I think it unlikely I would also like to hear if anyone knows of a way or a tip on how to get my account restored. Thanks and for a nice day!

Edit: Thanks for all the great replies guys. I'm glad to see some people supporting me and the others who are reasoning their beliefs well instead of just saying i'm wrong. I am banned and Graves still can't have his Cigar... also, RIP Azir sweet prince, 2014-15

Update: I just got an update from Riot Support, my case has been reviewed and my ban has been lifted. Thx for all that helped me in this situation

Shaco griefed you by KSing you as the jungler, trying to make you angry so he could report you.

Idk what to make of. You never said "kill yourself", you never called him any slurs or homophobic comments, You spammed the same thing alot, but its understandable when the shaco was flaming. I can see why you would possibly get a 2 week or less, but a perma? must be something else, idk what, but that text doesn't seem at all close to what ive seen in perma bans. send a ticket int o have them review it.

lol i stopped caring about lyte when I seen "it don't matter what others say to you, its what you say back to em" type of logic or lack of logic. This is the only game I know where u can get perma banned for calling someone useless, but every female character is soft core hentai porn and don't even get me started about how PG-13 that bildgewater lore was, by lytes system the lore woulda had 75 chat restrictions placed on it

Under the Tribunal, players were punished based on recidivism - so the more trips they made the the Tribunal, the harsher their punishments became. They could even sit at regular 2-week bans for quite some time before being issued perma-bans. This was determined to be ineffective.

So they switched to a less lenient "three-strikes" system. Specifically, Lyte has stated that those strikes could be behavioral sanctions of any sort - chat restrictions, Ranked restrictions, or bans. Which, since you've never received a ban before, begs the question: have you received restrictions before?

As an additional note, this ban was not issued for a single game. Rather, Riot's current system only automates the sending of logs from the game that triggered the punished case. While that game was a factor, it was certainly not the only factor.

I can't say whether or not you deserved it because I don't know all the facts, but I know that sadly this will become the norm.

They said recently, now that the system is running "fully" that punishments will become harsher and likely more often to really crack down on toxic behavior. I can't say or not if I agree with it, because in some cases they are far too lenient (doing bad is one thing. People that just troll for the sake of being bored to troll and intentionally feed just shouldn't be playing. Go play another game and stop trolling).

You might be a "victim" so to speak, of the new harsher system.

Sometimes it seems like Riot just looks at your personal chat logs and not the other players'. It would explain a lot.

I am a super judgmental person who is inclined to approve of most bans I hear about. But a permanent ban for that seems pretty harsh. Especially since it was your first time banned according to you. Did you ask support?

Normally i'm on the ban side since most of the time people are lying but for two chat restrictions is a perma needed. No. yes a punishment but perma...that's like saying someone got the death penalty just for disturbing the peace

The reason you got such a harsh ban most likely, is due to the fact that you already had punishments in the past.

Harder punishments are dealt out to people with history of previous punishments, it's possible that you got reported just as much as the Shaco did, and if you've had a consistent stream of reports coming through, it just built a much larger case against you.

Typically people who flame make a habit of it, and as such, just because that's the game that you got banned for, doesn't mean it was the only thing taken into consideration during your ban.

No it's not, the jungler's job is to gank vulnerable lanes and manage objective control, NOT to babysit you and make sure you get fed. If you can't do well in your lane 1v1 then you have no one to blame but yourself.

I have seen people get 14 day bans for much worse, so I guess a permanent suspension is overkill and I feel a little bit bad for you, but it's unacceptable nonetheless. I'm sure if you had stopped yourself from typing these two messages, your punishment would have been much less. Junglers hate being criticized, they have the most pressure on them and you trying to micromanage them and point out all their faults is going to make them angry. No one is perfect, maybe he didn't gank enough but insulting him for it is a sure way to guarantee a loss and a possible account suspension.

He also gave you blue so he clearly isn't trying to troll. You critizicing him is probably what made him give up on trying to win the game. There is no such thing as KS in a team game, and a fed Shaco can carry. Be lucky he ganked you at all despite you crying KS.
