Server for East coast NA please

Hi,

I was wondering if Riot would consider making a server for East coast NA. I realize a lot of people will complain that NA already has a server. But understand that NA is not just the United States, but also includes Mexico and Canada.

At the LEAST populated times, like midnight or even mid morning during weekdays the lowest my ping reaches is about 110. And no, I don't have an old comp, I just bought this one two months ago. During peak times, it sometimes even DC's me for a few (10-15) seconds.

Now I heard that Riot had a server in Florida, the Latin American server. While I have no clue how my game will perform there, I am hesitant to move there due to the language being Spanish. Now I would be grateful, if Riot specifically starts a server for Eastern NA, or if they could add English as an option for the Latin American server. And yes, I will be content with only a free transfer if this is agreed upon.

PS: If I am in the wrong section, I am sorry. Please tell me the correct sub community to address this issue in. Thanks!!!

I'd say New York/New Jersey would be a great spot since SoCal server is far to the south.

I'd rather have a centralized server.

Who cares about splitting the community...

League of Legends is huge now!

Definitely going to play on LAN servers

You may also be able to lower your ping if you do not use wireless Internet. Ie. connect the router directly to your pc.

Other games with less money have enough servers for the entire continent, whats the hold up!

I live in northern Ontario and I completely agree, pls. My ping on average is 140, been a long time since I've seen it go under that, mostly used to it now but I know and can feel the disadvantage I am at. The slightly too late kayle ult, the missed smite steals.

I would give an arm and a leg for a 60 ping (well maybe not an arm, I need that to play).

Guys, you have to upvote this thread for it to rise. I believe then Riot responds to the higher upvoted thread? That's how Reddit usually works.

You mention peak time increasing your latency and causing disconnects. That doesn't sound like an issue an East Coast server would solve. That sounds like your ISP is having congestion issues somewhere. Depending on where the issue is, an East Coast server might not make any difference at all.

There actually is a server located in Florida but it serves South America.
