How long does it take to update the patch.... been sitting 3 hours scanning files

So i have been waiting since midnight and its 2:30 now and its at 33% on 16678 files scanned what should i do or can someone just inform me of my progress on scanning the never ending files?

At that point, I just closed the client and tried again. Once you get >9000 files, it'll never stop.
