EA is the number one franchise destroying company they literally have had the SAME business model forever

buy a successful franchise gut it to make it as cash grabby as possible, put it into one year dev cycles (ala assasins creed) and LITERALLY drop support six months after release

ive owned soooo many games from EA that have turned out to be downright broken underdeveloped or rushed pieces of shit that I cant possibly hate riot more than EA

to me blizzard and EA are the companies that will never...ever get a single cent from me again

yes I hate blizzard too, actiblizzard managed to in a single year destroy 2 of the best franchises in the past 15 years SC and Diablo and that gentlemen takes some doing..'

And here we have the reason why gamers don't get much respect in the world... we genuinely feel someone who 'ruins a franchise' is worthy of the 'worst company' award... and genuine hatred.

They made something you don't like. Get over it.

People make things I don't like on a day to day basis, that's no reason to 'hate' them or consider them the 'worst here'...

Man this type of post really makes me worry about whether gamers are capable of ever being respectful.

If you think ANY game company deserves to be the 'worst in America', you're ridiculous. Just like all the people voting for EA. Not going to say that EA are saints or anything, but you are comparing a gaming company who pays their employees relatively well, employs predominately locally, but simply makes decisions you disagree with with companies who employ child labour, or who intentionally stifle wage growth, or who frequently purge their lower tier employee base to avoid having to give them raises, etc.... there are companies that are GENUINELY awful organizations... and then there are gaming companies who make bad decisions... and the gaming companies win the 'worst company in the US' award... it's mindboggling.
