Cost of basic rune pages?

Busy leveling my new account. I have 9k IP so far at level 15 and wondering how much each full rune page would be (ad/ap). Thanks.

depends on the runes you get, but it takes about 17k with pen marks (both magic and armor), armor seals, and mr glyphs quints are roughly 6k total

I think Flat Armor Seals, Flat MR Glyphs, AD Marks, Magic Pen Marks, AP Quints, and AD Quints work out to around 15,375 IP and give you the two basic pages you want.

However, I'd recommend purchasing Hybrid Pen marks instead of Magic Pen marks. They might be more expensive, but they are equal to or greater than Magic Pen marks at most stages of the game for most champions. I don't really use Magic Pen marks anymore, mostly because Hybrid Pen is more general and saves rune pages. This increases the price to 19,065 IP.

Those runes should give you 2 basic pages. Other runes which may be useful, but by no means necessary, to purchase are (in no particular order):

  • Health Regen Quints
  • Movement Speed Quints
  • Armor Quints
  • MR Quints
  • Attack Speed Quints
  • Attack Speed Marks
  • Scaling CDR Glyphs
  • Scaling Health Seals
  • Scaling Armor Seals

For a good basic AD page: AD marks; AD Quints; Armor seals; MRes glyphs = 8610 ip

For a Marksman: AD Marks; AD Quint; 2x AS Quints; armor Seals; MRes Glyphs = 8610 ip

A good basic AP page: Mix pen marks; (reusing armor seals); AP glyphs; AP quints = 14145 ip

Poor man AP page: MPen marks; (reusing armor seals); (reusing MRes glyphs); AP quints = 6765
