A lot happens in a week - interesting discussions constantly pop up throughout the League ecosystem only to be replaced by the newest hotness and fall out of visibility. Hot topics of discussion don’t always stay that way for very long, so unless you’re on top of it all day every day (and who has time for that when there’s a ranked ladder to climb?), it’s easy to miss a lot.
With that in mind we'd like to try out a weekly post featuring some interesting conversations you may have missed as well as upcoming discussion opportunities.

NA server roadmap update
We posted an update on our most recent progress on the NA Server Roadmap, including the latest PoP hardware and additions to the list of ISPs we’re partnering with.
No more free rides back to lane
Mid-laners rejoice -- Gypsylord jumped into the latest Ekko balance thread to (among other things) confirm that we’re upping the mana cost on his ult from 0 to 100 in the next patch.
P-B-E, eaaasy as 1-2-3 (sorry)
Redditor /u/kairoseki started a discussion about the purpose of PBE, noting that pending balance changes aren’t always highlighted well -- Gypsy and DanielZKlein jumped in to discuss how they use it.

It only took XXX days, but Zac is finally getting a new skin of the Pool Party variety! The news prompted discussion about the Pool Party skins as a whole, with a couple Rioters chiming in to share the thinking and planning that goes into them.

A group of UC Berkeley students shared their experience of starting an official class about learning League, starting discussion about how something like that could help legitimize gaming in mainstream culture.

The True Bard questioned whether the proposed Ryze nerfs on the PBE are going a little too far and kicked off a discussion about what the changes’ll mean for his gameplay.

You may have missed...
We posted a fix for those having trouble installing the latest patch, gave a heads up about an incoming ban wave, and clarified that those who received a random 4-win IP boost unlocked it by using the friend discovery feature that connects your League and Facebook accounts.
