Smurfing is out of control and is making the game not worth it any more

I always feared what would happen with league of legends went main stream. Ranked is absolutely pointless now. No one ever stays in their own ranking and it makes the game pointless to the rest of us. Yes, you can beat someone that is 2 leagues lower than you. Congratulations! I just don't understand the appeal of playing not in the same league as yourself. Isn't that just like being a high school senior and playing full contact football with the elementary school students?

The idea that if I can play with someone better than me can only be used an excuse for so long. In the end what is the point of ranked but to improve at your pace and eventually get higher in the ranks? I don't want to pass the ball to the point guard every single time I get the ball so to speak. The strategy of league of legends use to be to work as a team and not to rely on everyone else to win.

I miss the days back in season one when smurfing was unheard of and not the popular thing to do. This game is probably going to lose all of its fun, if it hasn't already, for all but the few "elite" that have nothing better to do than to ruin the game and fun for everyone else. When a game makes me question why I am still queing up for a ranked match, knowing that I probably won't be paired with my true peers, it might be time to say good bye forever.

I use to love playing league of legends but now it seems to be full of nothing but teenaged whanna be gangstas, trolls, smurfs, and just people that should re-evaluate their lives over obsessing over a video game and their lcs senpais that could care less about them and wouldn't stop to piss on them if they were on fire!
